How is ceramic coating different from wax?

Wax wears off quickly. Ceramic coating lasts much longer, helps protect the paint, and makes the car easier to wash.
Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating?

Usually, yes. We polish the paint first so you are not sealing in swirl marks or water spots. If the paint needs more work, we will tell you before we start.
Can you apply ceramic coating over PPF?

Yes. We often apply ceramic coating over paint protection film. It helps water and dirt come off faster and makes routine cleaning easier.
How long does ceramic coating take to apply?

Most jobs take 1–2 days. That includes deep cleaning, paint prep, coating, and time for it to set properly.
How do I maintain ceramic coating after installation?

Wait 48 hours before the first wash. After that, wash every 1–2 weeks with gentle car soap and a soft mitt. Avoid brush car washes. We can also recommend a refresh spray to keep the finish looking its best.
How much does professional ceramic coating cost?

At ALSET Custom, ceramic coating starts at $2,200 for full exterior coverage. That includes a deep wash and paint polish before coating. Higher packages include interior coating and coating over PPF. Final price depends on your vehicle size and current paint condition.
Is ceramic coating worth it if I don't have a garage?

Yes, especially if you park outside. Florida sun, bugs, sap, and salty air wear paint down faster. Ceramic coating helps protect the finish and makes cleanup easier.
How long does ceramic coating need to cure before I can drive?

You can drive home the same day. For the first 48 hours, avoid washing the car and keep it out of rain if possible. After that, you can use it normally.
