What is the difference between a vinyl wrap and PPF?

Vinyl wrap changes your vehicle's color and appearance using 3M 2080 film. PPF (paint protection film) is a thicker, clear film designed to absorb rock chips and road debris. Many owners choose both — wrap for the look, XPEL PPF on high-impact zones for physical protection.
Will a vinyl wrap damage my car's paint?
