What window tint percentage is legal in Florida?

In Florida, front side windows must let in at least 28% of light. Rear side windows and back glass can be as dark as 15%. We make sure your tint is legal before your car leaves the shop.
Does ceramic window tint interfere with electronics?

No. Good ceramic tint does not block your phone signal, GPS, Bluetooth, toll pass, or radio.
How long does window tint installation take?

Most vehicles are completed same-day at our Nokomis studio. Full vehicle ceramic tint typically takes 2–3 hours using computer-cut XPEL PRIME XR PLUS patterns for your exact make and model. Drop off in the morning, pick up in the afternoon.
Can window tint be removed or changed later?

Yes. Professional tint removal is clean and won't damage your glass or defroster lines. If you want to go darker, lighter, or replace faded tint from a previous shop, we handle removal and re-tint with XPEL PRIME XR PLUS ceramic film.
How much does ceramic window tint cost?

Ceramic window tint at ALSET Custom starts at $300 for front two windows using XPEL PRIME XR PLUS film. Full vehicle pricing depends on window count and vehicle type. Every installation includes a lifetime transferable warranty from XPEL against bubbling, peeling, and discoloration.
What's the difference between ceramic tint, carbon tint, and dyed tint?

Dyed tint mostly makes the glass look darker. Carbon tint helps with heat more than dyed tint. Ceramic tint blocks the most heat and UV, so the cabin stays cooler and your interior is better protected.
Can you tint a windshield in Florida?

Florida does not allow tint below the legal line on the windshield unless you have a medical exemption. A visor strip at the top is legal and helps with glare. With a valid medical waiver, we can install a very light windshield tint that still cuts heat and UV.
Does ceramic window tint reduce A/C use or improve EV range?

Yes, it can help. When less heat gets into the car, your A/C does not have to work as hard. Gas cars use less fuel for cooling, and EVs can keep a little more range for driving.
