• Coverage Options
Three levels of coverage
Full Front End
Hood, fenders, front bumper, headlights, fog lights, and side mirrors — the most popular choice for daily drivers.
Full Vehicle
Every painted panel from bumper to bumper — hood, fenders, doors, quarters, rear decklid, rear bumper, headlights, mirrors, and A-pillars.
Custom Coverage
Targeted protection for specific high-impact zones, accent areas, or rocker panels. We'll help you decide what makes sense for how you drive.
• Why XPEL
Self-Healing Film
Light scratches and swirl marks disappear with heat from the sun. The film repairs itself so your paint always looks untouched.
Invisible When Installed
Optically clear with no yellowing over time. You see your paint — not the film protecting it.
Precision-Cut, Never Bladed
XPEL's DAP system pre-cuts patterns for your exact make and model. No cutting tools ever touch your paint.
10-Year XPEL Warranty
Backed against yellowing, cracking, peeling, and delaminating. If the film fails, XPEL covers it.

• Frequently Asked Questions
What PPF coverage do most car owners choose?
+
Full front end is the most popular choice — hood, fenders, bumper, headlights, and mirrors. It protects the highest-impact areas from rock chips and road debris. XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS full front starts at $2,399 at ALSET Custom. Owners of luxury and performance vehicles often upgrade to full body coverage.
Will paint protection film change how my car looks?
+
Not much. Clear film is hard to notice once installed. If you want a satin look, STEALTH film can give gloss paint a matte-style finish. Both are backed by XPEL's 10-year warranty.
How long does PPF installation take?
+
Full front end PPF is typically completed in one day at our Nokomis studio. Full body coverage takes 2–3 days depending on vehicle size and panel complexity. We never rush installs — every panel is hand-finished for seamless edges.
Can paint protection film be removed later?
+
Yes. When removed correctly, the film comes off cleanly and does not harm factory paint.
Should I add ceramic coating on top of PPF?
+
Yes. Ceramic coating over PPF helps water, dirt, and bugs wash off faster and makes upkeep easier.
How do I care for paint protection film?
+
Wait 48 hours before washing. Then wash every 1–2 weeks with gentle soap and a soft mitt. Small marks can fade in warm weather. Avoid brush car washes and harsh cleaners.
Does PPF turn yellow over time?
+
Older films sometimes did. Modern XPEL film is designed to stay clear, and yellowing is covered by XPEL's 10-year warranty.
How much does paint protection film cost?
+
At ALSET Custom, XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS full front coverage starts at $2,399. Full body coverage usually starts around $5,500 to $7,000, depending on your vehicle size and shape. We give exact pricing for your specific vehicle.
Can old or damaged PPF be removed without harming my paint?
+
Usually yes. Newer film comes off easier. Older or brittle film can take more time, but we remove and replace film safely all the time.
Can I install PPF myself with a precut kit?
+
DIY kits can work on simple flat areas like door sills and door cups. For full front or full body coverage, professional installation is usually the better choice because curves and edges are harder to do cleanly. A professional install also includes XPEL's full manufacturer warranty, which DIY kits usually do not.
Should I get PPF from my car dealer or an independent XPEL shop?
+
Dealers often charge more for PPF and may outsource the work. At an independent XPEL Certified shop like ALSET Custom, you get XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS, the full XPEL warranty, and clear pricing. In most cases, you get better value and better install quality.
Can PPF damage headlights?
+
Not when quality film is installed correctly. Older low-quality films caused most of the issues people worry about. We use modern film and model-specific templates for clean headlight installs.
What is XPEL Stealth PPF?
+
XPEL STEALTH is a paint protection film that changes glossy paint to a satin look. You still get the same chip and scratch protection as regular clear film, and it can be removed later.
